It was new to me, therefore it is my first year of participation on
'The Colorfield Performance’
An initiative of the Dutch visual artist Dirk Hakze. The Colorfield Performance is an art spectacle in beautiful Park Lingezegen near Elst. It can be admired by the public at large from March till early October in 2021. Four hundred to five hundred international artists will be working in groups of six throughout the summer. They each paint a large panel on site in one day as part of a gigantic color field. This field keeps growing every week so many visitors come over and over again...
My work can also be found in the field, painted on an extremely sunny day, inspired by the wild flower fields of the park itself. no.444 ‘Field Of Colors’

I have been asked to paint an extra work on the first row, a place of honor.
This took place on August 12 and resulted in Field of Colors 2

The colorfield performance artwork is freely accessible between April 15 and October 3, 2021. The project is open to visitors from 9.30 a.m. up to 2 hours before sunset. During that time the artists are at work and you can get in touch with them. Only on Mondays and Tuesdays there will be no artists painting, but still the field is open to the public. The artwork will be finished in September and can be admired in its full glory.

Een initiatief van de Nederlandse beeldend kunstenaar Dirk Hakze. The Colorfield Performance is een schouwspel dat in 2021 voor iedereen te bewonderen zal zijn in het mooie Park Lingezegen bij Elst. (Gelderland) Vierhonderd tot vijfhonderd internationale kunstenaars zullen er de hele zomer in groepen van zes personen aan het werk gaan. Zij beschilderen ieder in één dag ter plekke een groot paneel als onderdeel van een gigantisch kleurenveld. Elke week groeit dit veld verder en daarom komen veel bezoekers opnieuw terug.
Mijn werk is ook op het veld te vinden, geschilderd op een uiterst zonnige dag met als inspiratie de wilde bloemenvelden van het park zelf.

Ik ben gevraagd een extra schilderij te maken op de eerste rij, een ereplekje.
Dit vond plaats op 12 Augustus en resulteerde in Field of Colors 2

Het kunstveld is tussen 15 april en 1 oktober 2021 vrij toegankelijk. Vanaf 9.30 uur tot 2 uur voor zonsondergang is het project open voor bezoekers. In die tijd zijn de kunstenaars aan het werk en kunt u met ze in contact treden. Alleen op maandag en dinsdag wordt er niet geschilderd, maar dan is het veld wel open voor publiek. In de maand september is het kunstwerk af en is het in zijn geheel te bewonderen.
